*Anariah glanced around her, sighing fleetingly. She looks around her. Two robins swoop around in the sky. Two dragonflies flutter side by side. Two squirrels share their nuts. Two bees buzz lazily. Everything seemed to come in pairs. Everything except for her. Anariah stood in the forest. Although she was surrounded by other treelings, she felt utterly alone. She was the youngest treeling in their forest, only fifty years. She needed a companion who was closer to her age. With whom she could share her secrets. Anariah needed a friend...*

**Ulrica darted in and out of the sshadows in the old woods, here eyes darting to and fro. She must be on the look-out for ridiculously stupid humans, who where always trying to kill her, just because of her form during the full moon. She sat on a warm, moss-covered stone and sighed heavily, blowing her thick, raven-colored hair out of her yellowish-brown, wolf-like eyes.**

**The dark girl glanced at Anariah in suspicion. Stroking the hilt of the dagger that was hidden under her black cloak, she replies in a low growl,** Why are you so hasty, Treeling? **Blinking her yellow-brown eyes, she watched the humanoid warily.** Why be my friend? **Her stomach lurched in mental agony. How she hungered for a companion, but her natural instincts restrained her.** You'll probably abandon me anyway, once you know me better... **She adds in a quiet murmur.**
OOC: Uh... how do you know that Ulrica is a were-wolf?
OOC: Hmm.. good point! BIC: *Anariah was taken aback at the young girl's ferocity* Well, then. If you are going to act like that, I won't be your friend! *the young treeling quickly morphed into a squirrel and scampered away into the trees. Although the young girl was not aware of this, Anariah secretly watched the strange child. The treeling made a vow to herself that she would continuosly watch her tempermental, "friend"*

OOC: Morphed into what?
BIC: **Ulrica's heart lurched as the Treeling left, and put her head in her hands as she mourned her fate. Staring up at the growing moon, she shudders violently. For the Treeling's own good, it was fortunate that it wasn't a full moon quite yet. Ulrica wondered what would happen if she bit a treeling, but though better of it. At least as a were-wolf she only attacked humanoids- animals where not what she sought out in these woods. Sighing, she murmured a though absentmindedly to herself.** If only I could make the Wolvesbane potion, I could just curl up as an innocent wolf and sleep, and not be driven by my bloodthirsty counterpart!
*Anariah, in the form of the squirrel, sat placidly on a tree branch, listening. Suddenly, she understood. This girl is a were- wolf. And that Wolvesbane potion, my mother's old friend Ettie the elf specialized in potions! Perhaps I could Then Anariah realized how rash she was being. The only way she could give the Wolvesbane potion to Ulrica would be to admit that she had been watching the entire time, which is strictly cruel. Sighing, she change back into treeling form and walked back to the other treelings.*

OOC: Okay... What other treelingS?
BIC: **Ulrica pulls her long dagger from her belt. Feeling the smooth, flat part of the blade, she leaps about athletically with the large knife, her eyes gleaming and her face expressionless as she nimbly danced about, the dagger glistening in the sun. The blade made a whistling noise as the girl threw it. As she walked over to the place on a log where a mushroom was growing, and smiled in satisfaction: her aim was true, and she had pinned the fungus perfectly. The werewolf laughed and pulled the blade out before resuming her deadly dance and demonstrating more amazing acts of her accuracy.**
ooc: the other treelings of Druma woods. Although Anariah is not friends with them, she does like to stick close to them. They are mostly her mother's friends

OOC: Treelings don't live with other treelings, and don't really have parents. According to TA Barron, they were made by the gods when Fincayra was made!
